April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing the guitar as well as taking piano classes which sparked her enthusiasm for songwriting. When she was 12 years old, April composed her first single Different. As a teenager, April was a huge devotee of her time writing music ideas and practicing musical skills. Later on, she started taking notes together with her dad on trips to LA and NY. April began to include additional relevant subjects into the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure problems and teenage suicide. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer that has an ever-growing fan base. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia through a collaboration, in addition to being a lifestyle expert. Lockhart was born without a left hand and that is part of who she is--but it's far from the entirety of her story. Still, she admits going through phases when it comes to her body and feeling uneasy about clothes that exposed her arms. She wears whatever she wants and proudly posts pictures of herself dressed in outfits she picks out on social media.
