I worked for months, working 12- hour days sanding floors and taking wallpaper down with one baby strapped to my back, and others crawling in the playpen. Ha! It wasn't long before I managed a large-scale business for home improvement. It began with taking clients at a pace that I could be at ease with. If you'd told me that this business of mine could become the premise of a tv show for the DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. Actually I still kind of laugh when I think about it.
