Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native, born in Houston on 17 April 1972. William John Garner worked as a chemist for Union Carbide. The mother of her Patricia Ann taught at a local university. His father worked as a chemical engineer which is why she wanted to be similar to her father. Then she moved in New York in order to fulfill her ambitions as an actor. In addition to appearing on Broadway productions, she also worked as waitress. She appeared in an appearance on the tv show "Felicity." This was in this show that she first got to know Scott Foley, her first husband. Garner was first seen in Alias which is an action-thriller. Her first major part was in the acclaimed love story 13 Going on 30. She played a teenager trapped inside a 30plus year old's body. Garner selected Gary Winick as the director of her film. Garner has been designated as an ambassador for artists with Save the Children U.S.A. during 2009, had an integral role in the organization. Role includes national literacy promotion along with nutrition, early childhood education, and many various other aspects.
